I haven't blogged for quite some time. I've mainly been too busy and have had health problems. However, today we have found out that my father in law has cancer. We are devestated. How do you explain to an 8 year old that grandad is dying?
What I am most disappointed about is that it has taken the NHS almost 2 1/2 years to diagnose and they now state that it is terminal and there is nothing they can do. He has been given 9 months to live. I seriously wonder about the state of our National health Service. It's only going to get worse.
My husband refuses to speak about it which is frustrating me. He keeps everything bottled up inside and I know that it is tearing him apart knowing that Dad is dying and there is nothing he can do.
All I can say is I am glad that i have access to private health care.
